We all know someone that likes to steal movies, music, and video games from torrent sites but who knew they were all after Crysis 2? . Piracy in video games is a big reason why the infamous Online Pass was invented and it doesnt look like it is going away anytime soon. Last year millions of copies of games were pirated, but none more than Crysis 2. With near 4 million copies of the game stolen, the acclaimed first person shooter from Electronic Arts is the most pirated PC game of 2011. . Closely followed by Activisions Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with 3.6 million illegal downloads, and Battlefield 3 with 3.5 million. Consoles dont have near as high of a piracy rating due to hardware restrictions but they saw their honest share with Gears of War 3 being the highest on Xbox 360 and for the second year in a row Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the most pirated Wii game. . You may have noticed the Playstation 3 is nowhere is site as that is because the numbers are too low to mention, but Sony had a rough piracy year in other areas like the Playstation Network so I estimate they should regard themselves lucky. .
